It was a warm (windy) day today, and since we are getting rain tomorrow, I sowed more seeds! I'm "almost" finished...yea, right!
I sowed Sunflowers (6)
Alyssum (5)Winter sowing is a method I use to start my seeds outdoors during the months of January through March. I learned of this method from Gardenweb.com. This is my 4th year winter sowing and I have had great success with this method. You may view some of my success at http://new.photos.yahoo.com/shoeforyou222/album/576460762356960809#page1
I also planted some pink Peony Poppies in a white "old fridge" container that I melted holes in.
A member from our garden club came over so I could show her how to winter sow. We sowed some Poppies and then I sent her on her way with some Poppy seeds, Shasta Daisy seeds, and some Love in a mist. Another winter sower is born!
